The story behind EYT
Ten years ago, watch companies in Brazil did not provide a top-tier buying experience for customers. Marcelo Di Giorgio and Marcelo Amado wanted to change that.
They founded Touch Watches and revolutionized the buying experience with their “5 senses of buying.” They blended aromatherapy, soothing sounds, and interactive displays to create a one-of-a-kind experience. It was the first major watch brand in Brazil that provided top-quality watches that were both stylish and affordable.
Touch Watches proved to be phenomenally successful. They expanded to 286 stores in Brazil within three years and sold over 1 million watches in one year alone. The company was eventually sold to a bigger competitor, in which Di Giorgio entered an exclusive non-compete with for six years.
It’s been six years. Di Giorgio and Amado are now ready to bring their experience from Touch Watches to the US with a new concept - EYT Watches (Enjoy Your Time). They brought on Claudio Risco, a seasoned marketing executive from Brazil with experience growing big-box watch brands.
Staying true to Touch Watches’ roots, EYT’s watches are stylish, affordable, and dependable. Each watch is waterproof-tested, powered by state-of-the-art Japanese Quartz Movement technology, and packaged with 100% recycled material. EYT’S designs were originally produced in Barcelona. They will now be developed in the heart of Miami’s Design District, Wynwood.
